Dolphin House is a Victorian grade II listed building comprising of three self-catering holiday flats. Dolphin House is very popular with guests who come year after year from around the world to enjoy the splendours of our reputed Victorian seaside.

Located in a prime position on Eastbourne seafront, Dolphin House is conveniently close to the pier and a variety of local entertainment and amenities. There is a well maintained floral garden separating the house from the seafront and the beach. Street parking is currently unrestricted outside Dolphin House. The town centre is only a level 10 minute walk. The seafront and Eastbourne’s facilities are accessible by easy walks, mainly on the flat. Local transport includes busses, taxis and the Dotto train. There is a railway station and bus station, as well as all facilities such as shops, post office and numerous range of restaurants, pubs, theatres and cinemas, or the bandstand where you can listen to the band in the afternoons.

As seaside towns go it offers attractions for short and longer holidays. The climate is mild all year round and media battles have erupted over sunshine records between Eastbourne and Jersey.

The beaches are shingle, but at low tide the sand appears. A stroll along the sea front or through the parks, during the day or evening, will relieve stress and add to the enjoyment of a lovely day out. A visit to Eastbourne’s Sovereign harbour is worthwhile for sailors or land lovers.

Eastbourne is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty. It invites visitors to take cliff walks and hike through the nearby shrub land and forests of the South Downs. You can take the Dotto train to the foot of beachy head, and if you feel energetic, climb up to beachy head and enjoy the marvellous views.

Eastbourne is adjacent to Hastings and to Brighton. Both can be reached by rail and bus for a day trip. If you bring your passport you may decide to go across the channel via Newhaven or Folkestone or Dover. You can find plenty of leaflets on events and excursions to make whilst on holiday in East Sussex at the Eastbourne tourist information office in the centre of town.

Dolphin House is ideally situated, facing the sea, approximately 50 yards from the beach and close to the pier. Local shops are a stone’s throw away and the town centre, railway station and buses are a level walk.
